Francesco is based in Europe (Venice,Italy) and he is an Boeing Designated Expert (BDE) in Inspection Automation & Compliance Verification, Image Recognition and Machining Learning (ML), and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and part of the BCA Supplier Quality Technical Functional Excellence in the group of Tooling and Digital Product Definition (DPD) locate in EMEA Region. He has been with Boeing for 15 years and worked in the field of manufacturing and dimensional metrology for over 21 years. Before coming to Boeing, Francesco worked on a variety of projects leaving in different location  Italy (Rome),(Venice), (Milan) and Japan (Tokyo) and covering different function  Stress Engineer, Quality Production Leader, Quality Manager. Over the years within Boeing, Francesco covered many role into supplier quality organization in leaving in many locations Germany (Frankfurt) ,South of Italy (Grottaglie),USA (Charleston SC) and Italy (Venice) . Francesco created several measurement applications into Inspection Automation to enable process repeatability and data reliability. Francesco has an intense knowledge on carbon fiber material fabrication and design. He earned three professional certificates at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MTI) of Boston, USA in to Additive Manufacturing Technology and Machine Learning, Modeling and Simulation Principles. Francesco was a technical presenter at two CMSCs (2015, 2022) with Boeing coworker Mike Lazar Associate Tech Fellow of 3D Metrology group and obtained is Professional Certificate on Portable 3D Metrology at CMSC on 2022.
Francesco holds a Master of Aerospace Engineering from Naples (Italy) Engineering University.
