HIGH PRECISION METROLOGY IN POWER GENERATION: PHOTOGRAMMETRIC ANALYSIS OF TURBINES AND COMPONENTS
Giuseppe has been working in the field of Industrial Metrology for over 30 years. His primary area of expertise is Industrial Photogrammetry. He has worked in a wide and varied number of industries. During this time, he has been privileged enough to work with some of the most outstanding and talented people in the field of metrology. After graduating from The University of Melbourne in 1992, Giuseppe pursued his PhD. before working as the Business Development Manager for the Vision Metrology Services Unit based in the Department of Geomatics at the University. After his work at the University, Giuseppe moved to Florida to work with Geodetic Systems Inc. (GSI). He worked with GSI for over five years and in that time gained a wealth of industrial metrology experience both in the USA and abroad before returning to Australia in 2003. Upon returning to Australia Giuseppe established Gancell Pty. Gancell are the Asia/Pacific/Africa distribution managers for GSI. Gancell are responsible for sales, marketing and technical support for all GSI customers and distributors in the Asia/Pacific/Africa region. In addition to their work with GSI, Gancell also engage in independent service work and training in the field of metrology.
