On The “Edge” With Automated Applied Metrology
Joey DeFazio is a Senior Applications Engineer within the Operations Technology team at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. He is the project manager for both the Edge Coating Verification system and Applied Metrology for Assembly development team. Joey oversaw the integration of the Edge Coating Verification system and continues to optimize the system to further improve operator experience and efficiency. Joey received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and has 9+ years of experience in digital metrology applications. Joey also received Coordinate Metrology Society Portable 3D Metrologist Level 1 certification and uses his experience and expertise to give back to his team through coaching and training on measurement systems. From The Woodlands, TX and now residing in the DFW area, He is a beloved husband and father of a young family.
