Matt Maakestad is an accomplished applications engineer at Lockheed Martin, where he specializes in designing and developing cutting-edge technology solutions for aerospace applications. In their current role, Matt is responsible for working closely with customers to understand their needs and develop customized applications that meet their specifications. His expertise covers a range of non-contact inspection technologies and has a deep understanding of the complex inspection systems and software that drive modern aerospace and defense platforms.
Matt holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Oklahoma State University and is an active member of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE).
In their free time, Matt enjoys skiing, mountain biking, playing Ice Hockey, and exploring the great outdoors. He is also a proud father of a 1 year old son and enjoys spending time with family around various the various sites Dallas Fort Worth has to offer.
