Depressions and Bulges: Utilizing 3d Scanning and Analysis Techniques to Detect and Measure Surface Irregularities on 737 Fuselages
Shereef Shehab is a Measurement Systems Engineer in the Boeing Research and Technology (BR&T) group. He earned his BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech focusing on manufacturing and design. Prior to working at Boeing, he has worked at Air Products and Chemicals managing pressure systems repairs in Hydrogen plants across the US.
At Boeing, Shereef began his career in the NDI research and development group designing ultrasonic NDI probes and has spent time working in the digital radiography lab on CT x-ray systems. In recent years, he has focused on developing and deploying 3D metrology tools to solve complex problems within Boeing production facilities. He enjoys being able to pull from a wide range of experiences with different technologies and pinpointing how they can best be utilized to solve complex problems across the company.
